COLLABORATiVENESS

I have been playing softball since I was four years old. The teams that I have played on before do not even compare to Luther Softball. Last year I was a freshman, and I just loved how the team bonded so much, and how everyone was really nice and welcoming. I think what made our team successful was the connection we all had and how we acted like a family. To make a team successful you must act like a team and all get along during game time. There is no I in the word team, so all of the team members need to come together and act like a family and play their hearts out.

EFFiCACY

I have helped many people believe in their ability to succeed at something, but only one time stands out to me. My little brother didn't believe that he could hit the ball and he thought he would strike out, but I told him he could and he didn't believe me. So we went to the park, and i taught him a few lessons on hitting and I started pitching the ball and he kept missing. I told him that he needed to have the confidence that I had in him and so he finally had confidence in himself and he ended up being the biggest hitter on his team this past season. You just have to have confidence in what you do and never second guess yourself about it.

REFLECTiVENESS

Teachers and students find it hard to reflect because they don't want to be wrong, they want to be right. People think that reflection has a right or wrong answer, when really it doesn't. Also, sometime reflections aren't needed, and then some reflections take longer than others so most people don't like to do them.
Some people consider reflection to be the heart of the teaching process because people need to reflect on how teachers are doing. If they are teaching poorly do we really want our kids to be taught by these teachers? No, so we need to do reflections on these teachers so that it doesn't happen.
Sometimes reflectiveness can be a positive thing, but at the same time it can be a negative thing. We need reflection so that we take the positive reflections and keep doing them and learn from the negative reflections.

CREATiViTY & iNVENTiVENESS

I think teachers need to tell their students that it's okay to have a creative mind and to have an imagination because in the future they could be famous. Their is and was a lot of famous people that have creative minds and that have an imagination. You don't necessarily have to be famous or become famous, but people that have imagination's their life is so much better, they can expand everything they do and make stuff up that they never thought they could do.

I wish i had an imagination because then i would be able to think outside the box. It would have expand my horizon and show me things that i never knew I could of done. I think it's really important to have creativity as a skill in the 21st Century because it helps you in the real world looking for jobs, or playing sports, etc. You have to be your own person and everybody has their own different creativeness.

ROLE PLAYiNG.

I think the students got a lot more out of this role playing experience. It was a lot of fun and we all got really into it. I personally felt like we were all putting our own opinions into it, so we all participated one way or another. I feel like we each got to see everyone else's role playing parts, so that when and if we do become teachers we will know how the under-educated parents, liberal arts, business, and etc. feel towards the board or towards the teachers.

If we would have done a lecture, it would have been boring and i don't think most of the students would have payed attention. Most of the kids get more engaged when its a more hands on type of experience. The advantage of a lecture would be, I personally don't think there would be an advantage to a lecture. Lecture's sometimes get old and students like to be interactive with class.

Passion

I think the only time that i ever enjoyed history was with my 11th grade teacher Mrs. D. She was just always funny, outgoing, cared about her students and helped us with whatever they needed. She came to all the high school varsity games to support her students. She was really open with us, so that if we ever needed anything we knew we could go talk to her. I think it also helped that Mrs. D was so young. She was only about 25 i think. even though she was so cool with us when it came down to getting homework and tests and projects done we did them and we respected her about that.

Authenticity

To me authenticity is how parents raise their kids. Parents need to agree on how to raise their kids together. They can not have their kids going to one parent and ask them something and that parent say no, but then go to their other parent and that parent say yes. It needs to be an equal agreement between the two parents.
